How does this all work?

Its as simple as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Complete your booking online

  2. We clean your bike while you work

  3. We return your bike to the Grimshaw bike storage room

I have already booked, but is there anything else I need to do?

Once everything is booked, you will receive an email (usually within 24 hours) explaining the next steps.

There are 4 rules:

  • LEAVE YOUR BIKE CLOSER TO THE ENTRANCE - We want to find your bike quickly so that we can get it cleaned on time.

  • REMOVE LIGHTS etc - Make sure you have removed any lights, bells, locks and other fixtures that will impede the speed of the technician. If you fail to do so, this may affect the quality of the clean.

  • Place a symbol - on the form, you will be asked to provide a photo as well as to place something unique onto your bicycle, just so the technician could find your bike fast. Customers usually opt for placing a post-it code with a unique 3 digit code; while others have placed colored string. (OR we provide the things to attach?)

  • POOR CONDITION BIKES NOT ALLOWED - it is against company policy to clean bikes that are in a bad/poor condition. Cleaning your bike may lead to further issues. Please ensure your bike is in a fair and working condition before using this service.

  • LEAVE A REVIEW - a review will help us to prove just how good we are; and become a permanent fixture at your office. We’ll send you a review request within 48 hours after the clean.

Can I pay cash on the day?

We require most of our clients to pre-book and pay by debit/credit card via the site.

You can pay by cash in these circumstances:

  • if you were on the waiting list and the technician was able to fit you in on the cleaning day

  • if you’d like to pay for an add-on

What if I need to cancel the booking?

We have a strict policy that requires employees to cancel at least 24 hours before the cleaning day.

If you fail to do so, you will not be entitled to a refund. Please view our terms and conditions.

Everything looks fully booked - what now?

What if I would like to change cleaning days?

We would require a 24 hour notice.

Can i book on behalf of a colleague?

Unfortunately you cannot. In order for things to be fair, you can only book for yourself, 1 bike per employee.

Will the Bicyclean technician let me know when cleaning is completed?

If you would like the technician to update you when the cleaning is completed, please let us know on the booking form.

I would prefer if you came to my home. Can we arrange that?

We provide services to clients within the Bicyclean zone. More information can be found here.

Can I pay for additional add-ons?

Yes you can. However please remember that add-ons will not be subsidized by your employer.
